puff of smoke on cold start up
I've noticead that the last couple of times when starting up the engine from cold (my97 uk turbo, 80k miles) there has been a puff of blue-grey smoke. I've been doing some research here and found that one possible cause is overfilling the oil. So I checked this and it is just above the F on the stick. The oil was changed when I bought the car. Should I remove some?
I've also seen some post where other people have had blue smoke on start up and a variety of other explanations were voiced, including that it was normal on a turbo'd car. Any opinions on this? Many thanks Nick |
