Ok, somewhere this must be wrong..

Someone correct me..

1Mb = 1024*1024b = 1048576b
*85 = 89128960b

28.8kbps = 28.8*1024bps = 29491.2bps

therefore 89128960/29491.2 = 3022.2 s

(3022.2/60)/60 = 50.37 mins

If only you could download at 28.8kbps

In reality it's more like 2.5kbps so therefore download time is approximately...

9 1/2 Hours :D

Hmmm 2hr dial-up before disconnection on Freeserve. Don't think I'll bother.

Was it a good video?

King RA 14 December 2004 10:49 PM

don't know, was only d/l at 30kb/s so decided not to bother :D 45mins, pah!! this is the digital age for christs sake :D

Fuzz 2 14 December 2004 10:59 PM

cant squeeze more than 42kbps out of that site (got 2 others downloading as well)

30mins it says. :rolleyes:

28.8kbps=28.8*1024 =29491.2 BITS per second = 3686.4 BYTES/sec = 3.6KB/sec
