front driveshafts

can anyone tell me if i can take out the front drive shafts without loosening the bottom balljoint it looks possible to me but i don't want to start it and then find it won't come out that easy

92 leggy by the way

But separating the wishbone to strut balljoint is the easiest way of removing the driveshafts? You can then just pull back on the entire strut (once you've removed the retaining pin :)) and the driveshaft will click out of the gearbox.

nah easiest way is to loosen the bolts holding the strut to the hub take out the top one and out comes the shaft :D

That way there are no scrapped knuckles or swearing

thanks anyway but job done
