Err... try posting on the relevant thread, and you'll get more replies.

Not being funny, just trying to help. (I know F-all about mechanics, so I won't even try to help answer your question)

:)

No problem.

Scroll back up to the top of this thread, and look just below the scoobynet banner, over to the left.

You should see ScoobyNet > Accessories > Styling

Click on ScoobyNet to take you back to the forum homepage, then scroll down and click on General Technical and post your question there. You'll be surprised at how quickly you get a reply or two.

Hope this helps.

A 96 sti 2 has only 275ps = 273bhp or thereabouts. Running optimax plus booster with a full decat you should see about 275-280bhp. This is because the car needs 100 octane fuel but you can get a scoobyecu that remaps it for optimax and higher boost. Take the induction kit off and put back the airbox as this will be a better way of drawing in cold air. The induction kit draws in warm air from the engine bay. It also protects against MAF damage.

If yours is an sti 3 then i dont have a clue tbh only because i have an sti 2 and know a lot about the preface lift cars.

Hope that helps

Stuart :)

I have an Sti v3.
Running full 3'' decat, boost controlled @ 1.25 bar, straight Optimax, Halfords panel filter (sorry everyone for that shock) got a rr result of 314 bhp/268 lbft.
Now run as above, plus 1.31 bar, Optimax +NF booster, gasported stock headers = ? bhp, but much mor torque.
Headers have just arrived from USA!

Hope this hels you.

Very funny!

The dump valve on my Sti v3 is the subaru item. Works well, no fuss, just a 'nice' whoooosh on a gear change, so not too 'boy racer', or should I say 'old fart racer'?
