polishing gold
i have a 300g flat curbed 14ct gold bracelet that ive had for 2 years that has now started to show light were and tear scratches etc
whats the best way to do it or get it done? |
Have been told in past to use soft cloth and toothpaste mt8. Never tried it myself thou.
|
I would take it to a jeweller. They have all the right rouges and buffing wheels etc.!
Interesting fact about gold: don't expose it to mercury, gold will actually dissolve in mercury! :D |
jeweller would be best bet......

Get some "cape cod" polishing cloths , awesome :)
these are effectively cloths impregnated with Jewellers Rouge |
