I'd be interested in the PFF7's..what offset are they and where are you based?

Live just outside a/deen not to sure of offset but are for sti 7 with brembo,s

ET46 IIRC (non-Brembos would be ET53)

Hmmm, that would be handy as I'm also from Aberdeen. I'll look into possible offsets and get back to you. ;)

If it's for your P1, then you need to fit between ET50 & ET53 without having to modify the arches (well too much).

IIRC ET46 is a no-goer on a classic. Hope I'm wrong if you want those wheels.

I know your only looking for price, but I'd be interested in mid section and firestorm BB (if it'll fit a classic) if you go for the standard.

I think you are wrong with the offsets on the P-FF7s (seven spoke wheels). These are only available in a single offset, which I believe is 51. I have seen these fitted on a classic without any reported problems. They did use a 215 width tyre on them, but you have to note that not all 215 width tyres have the same width of tread!

It's the original P1 multispoke style wheels which are available in two different offsets of 46 and 53 I think, with the 46s required to clear the new-age STi Brembo's, but the 53s will clear the old style Subaru 4 pots, and most likelt AP 4 and 6 pots as well.

With regards to the P-FF7s, they should fit the P1 without too much problems, though you will need to be careful with the choice of tyres. A 225 width tyre, probably on P-Zeros (not the best wet wetaher tyre) should be fine, but some tyres with rim protectors may cause slight rubbing under hard cornering/heavy loading.

John, yes you're quite right. The PFF-7's only come in a ET51 offset - I've just checked back to the post from Mike Wood on this subject.

I spoke with Money and ChristianR and both reported NO rubbing with PFF-7's on their classics. There was someone on the P1 owners club in Aberdeen who reported rubbing under heavy loads and hard cornering on his car.

From what others have said, 215 tyres seem to be stretched too much on 8" wide alloys, so I would stick with 225's.

Mike said the correct size for a classic is 225/35/18. The OZ 18" with a ET53 is the best option, but ET51 PFF-7's shouldn't be a problem - he just wouldn't guarantee no rubbing.
