Buy the BC2s. In fact buy a dozen of them - at that price you can resell amd make a tidy profit ;-) Its not big and its not clever but I paid £110 for a pair from GGR!!!!
I've had them in my MY98 for several months now without any problems. Just don't turn the engine on with the headlights on - the current surge could blow the bulbs. They do provide MUCH better lighting over standard or Xenon bulbs. I also heard GGR are now selling E-marked BC2s ie. road-legal. |
Sorry to post yet another question about headlight bulbs.
The time has come to upgrade my headlights. Should I fit PIAA BC2 80/80 (135/115)bulbs or EWC1 60/55 (110/100)? The EWC1's are cheaper and legal. The BC2's are brighter, more expensive and run hotter (I have plastic reflectors UK MY98). The best prices I have so far are from Beechdale Subaru. BC2 £37+vat each EWC1 £40.96+vat for a pair. Can anyone beat these? Has anyone had any reflector melting problems? How long do these bulbs tend to last? |
