FRP removed with walbro 255 ?..
i've just ordered a walbro 255l for my car, and i don't know if must remove the stock fuel refulator pressure, even if i keep the original pressure (so 3b at 0b)...
what do you think about that ? |
I've run Walbro's for many years on stock FPR's without problems, but others have reported problems...and a recent intermittent det problem I had on my car was ultimately fixed with an SX FPR.
Assuming you have a knocklink, give it a go. Just add the FPR later if anything wierd starts to happen. Richard |
A Walbro will overpower a std regulator so it should be changed, you will find that fuel pressure and hence fueling can be variable unless you do.

ok !
in fact, if i must remove the FRP, i'll seach one whitch is fitteg with gauge, do you know where i can find that ? if someone has one to sell it.... ;) |
Alyn can post an FSE FPR to you with guage attached. This must not run above 5bar so ideally you are not running more than 1.5 bar of boost. Above say 1.7 then start looking at the SX FPR. info@asperformance.com. The UK price is £95 so a little more to France. Bon chance.

thanks harvey !! ;)
i don't want run over 1.5, so the FSE FPR is enough for me ! i've just ordered the walbro 255l pump and a 550 injectors set....the FRP is the logic suite ;) |
