i got a type r and i swapped mine for TEIN HA adjustable, definately worth the swap, very noisy at low speeds, i have heard LEDA may be a more suitable option.

Cheers for the advice/warning. Any advice on the damage in notes to change?

I've had my MY96 WRX STi for a couple of years, the previous owner £10,500 on upgrading the suspension to OHLINS  .........This is a Group N Spec suspension, but I do know that they do a suspension for £3000-£4000, which is also supposed to be outstanding.......The suspension I have a, within reason, solid and I like it :D !!

£10.5k on suspension! I assume that you got yourself a bargain when you bought the car?!

Edit - nice website Tim; nice car too!

http://www.astsuspensionuk.com/ is worth a look. I think a set of coilovers suited to UK roads is around the £850 + Vat ballpark.

10k on suspension

makes the 1.5k that sumbody splashed out on mine seam almost reasonable

I paid about £9500 for it 2yrs ago, so it wasn't to bad......It's a Jap import with Full Service History, which includes everything you can think of (even the plane tickets, hotel room stubs & auction sheet from when the original guy went over to Japan to get the car).............Thanks for the compliment about my site and car.
