i have a 95 5 door turbo and cannot change from 1st to 2nd at revs higher than 3500 without serious crunching, all other changes are fine at the moment and a low rev change is easy, can anyone help me!

wants new synchros in it by the sounds of it i feel a rebuild coming on

is it much of a job
is it only the second gear synchro or do you think the rest will be going too, can you recommend anyone to talk to about it?

Try double declutching, if crunching goes away then its probably the Scnchro's.

PS - Drive it easy and do the job sooner rather than later as debris in the gearbox could do more damage.
