The body model is the Grand National version of a Regal from the late 1980s. The stock version would have a turbo 3.8L - I don't know what's under the hood of this one.

Nice to see a Buick with functional ports on the fenders *G*

Is that final figure BHP?

IIRC they are Turbo'd V6's as standard....Don't think that one sounded like a V6, more like a V8, I could be wrong

Slight wheel-spin on the roller :D

I know that one type of buick V6 engine was a Rover V8 with literally 2 cylinders chopped off!! But I think it was discontinued by the 80's

Useless fact no 1024: It was the modifications done to the buick V6's that were copied by Rover on their later V8's such as wasted stem valves - as the engines were identical barring 2 cylinders ;)

Doubt you'd ever get a Rovvy V8 up to that BHP either! :p :D

Don't forget the Rover V8 was originally designed by Buick-Oldsmobile for their compact Jetfire and Starfire cars ... in 1960  and licensed by Rover in '67 for the P5 and P6 ...

Also the Metro 6R4 motor was ... a Rover V8 minus the two end cylinders ... and the Jag XJ220 motor was a 6R4 motor with two turbos ... it must be one of the most versatile engines ever :D
