We've a rackmounted APC 5000va UPS, but it comes a couple of these power cables.
http://www.apcc.com/resource/images/...ap9877_f_h.jpg I've checked the APC website and it doesn't have any cables with a standard 13-amp plug. Is it because it's drawing a larger current that it needs these 16A rated cables? If so, how the heck do you wire these up to a mains supply? Stefan |
The female end to plug into the UPS is an IEC60320-C19 (formally known as an IEC320-C19).
Compaq do they as parts 305340-031 (Sales) or 295547-031 (Spares). Active Electronics in High Wycombe should be able to do the spare kit. Or RS, part 311-9315 @ £5.99 which is probably about a quarter of the price of the Compaq item :D |
That's the fella's, cheers Chris :D
I'll see if Dell can ship them to me FOC (I'd have expected them to be supplied with our £5K UPS ) APC sell the male/female cables for £18 each , so God knows what the Compaq price would be :) Stefan |
