I have fitted rear lexus style lamps to MY01 WRX. The nearside lamp is taking on water. The seal hasn't broke and i can only think that when it rains, water is running down the Boot/rear wing junction and then over the lamp housing.

There is a sponge clamped between the lamp and the body so i dont think it would be there (i may be wrong).

Has anyone had this problem if so what was it and how did you get rid of it?

Thanks

Pete :)

Double check the seal cause i had a similar problem with sti rear lights on my my00. Eventually sealed round the lights when putting them in and again from the inside the boot once they were in have'nt leaked since.

Thanks White Scoob

I have had the light off once when i dried the lenses but it has re-appeared. Should i put silicone sealant between the foam and the light?

Pete
