I am looking into getting a third party warranty myself, check out the auto trader website at:

The only company on the Autotrader site that I know anything about is Motor Warranty Direct. I think they are pretty good, but not cheap - their quote for two years extended warranty using their top of the range Platinum service was, from memory, somewhere in the £800-900 range.

In my opinion, stay clear of Warranty Holdings as from what I've heard, they are always very reluctant to pay out. A mate of mine currently has a lawyer involved in trying to sort out a claim!
