Not bad IMHO. Just done a similar deal and costs were little different.

rotty 21 September 2003 08:24 PM

Dont think the price for the new car is very good , I've just bought a brand new Sti for £23.1k ( so 25.1k max with ppp )

Though the trade in on yours sounds good

Where did you get that deal Rotty?

I was at a dealers yesterday, and they wouldn't budge on RRP...

rotty 21 September 2003 11:02 PM

Thats at Lucas of Mansfield , the price was £23120

Foxmod got that price at Beechdale in Nottingham last month , I asked Lucas to match it and they did :D

I also found out from a different dealer ( ex dealer now ) the price that the dealers pay , which is £22650

Deals are to be had.......got my new STi8 for £23400.

P1 Enthusiast 22 September 2003 10:21 AM

You could buy my P1 with 2005 Warranty for 17,500 and go to the Bahamas with the other 6 grand :)

Foxmod 22 September 2003 11:57 AM

Rotty,

Glad to see you got the same deal :D

Did you get any extras thrown in?

Golden Oldie 22 September 2003 12:23 PM

I know of a MY03 STi which is in a dealers for £23750 and it has only done 2,000 miles. However, it is black and hte previous owner chopped it for an identical one but in blue

£24k for 14,000 miles seems a bit high but then the PPP for the STi is £2,000 verses the WRX PPP at £1600 :)

Never go with dealers first offer, always room for haggling included :)

talizman 22 September 2003 03:33 PM

Rotty and Foxmod,

Just to clarify....

Were these deals on new STI8's or demos??

Foxmod 22 September 2003 04:50 PM

talizman 22 September 2003 05:34 PM
