cant think what the name of it is but had an email ad (spam probably)

does it work, ie do you get 5.1?

DJ Dunk 20 August 2003 02:44 PM

It was probably DVDXCopy. Yes it work and yes you can have 5.1 if its on the original disc. You can choose which audio streams to keep or ditch.

Cool - any idea where I can 'buy' it from?

DJ Dunk 20 August 2003 04:04 PM

You can buy it from http://www.dvdxcopy.com or get a 'demo' version from Kazaa.

Take a look here for other freeware apps that do the same thing . . . .

Don't bother it's pants!

Get DVD Shrink. It's free and 100% better.

I use the latest version of DVDXcopy .... it can't get easier this
just put in both disc's and press go :)

the latest version has a copy the entire disc option and does a dvd 9 to a 4.7 :D I can't see the difference in quality with the compressed version.

It's a very good bit of software I've had no problems and copied over 50 dvd's.

if you need any more info mail me as per profile

Craig.
