Alt Gr + Print Screen to capture the image from WMP. Then in PSP Ctrl+V

or is this what you are doing and it is still blank?

yep - thats what I'm doing and its still black - tried it on 2 pcs now - both running XP / PSP7

take a screen capture, save as Jpeg, close then reopen file and voila - nowt but black :(

You need to turn down/disable the hardware acceleration in the performance tab of options in media player..

Yeah, this is because the media player is writing direct to the graphics card's memory, avoiding the Windows layer altogether. Turn off hardware acceleration and you should be able to do it. :D

Either that or if you're running XP, play the movie in Windows Movie maker, which has a facility to save stills from any movie it's playing.
