|
Hahaha, looks like a laugh!
|
HIPPY.... but i left the damn pimms up there!
|
|
"Let's off-road!" :D Nice toy. Enjoy! :)
|
And i would like to add...Woman pay a small fortune for a mud treatment, i get it for free every weekend:D
|
Is the car or the nice young lady your new 'toy'?
LOL - looks great fun! |
Thankyou Gordy, well being BS's wife, i suppose you could say i was his plaything.
< nudge, nudge, if you know what i mean!> We make it our mission to get very dirty at the weekends:D:D |
Looks like loads of fun :D Where is it again? :o I forgot
Paul |
It's a on a farm out at Fourmarks in Hampshire along the A31. There is a sign saying "Motorsport" and you turn off the road under a railway bridge and then follow the track.
:D |
BS,
Looks like fun!! I'm sure it was you I saw pulling into a Surrey branch of Sainsbury last Saturday?? Rich |
Yeah it was....Popped out for a bottle of Pimms.
:D Only live up the road. |
Nice......D:
|
Used to be into that big time and had some right good laughs. Trouble was the mud would stay on there forever no matter how many times it was cleaned.
I used to have a Hilux 4x4 with Cossy engine and that would really fly. Also had 33x12.50x15 tyres. Also had a SJ with a 1.9td Pug engine and that was literally a go anywhere 4x4 with breathers, diff locks, etc Even went to Malaysia, Borneo and Thailand for trials and competitions... Nath |
Mine's getting a V8 conversion in soon....:D
Got a winch....need to make up a mounting plate though. :D |
Nice and torquey :) Will pass most things apart from a petrol station :D
|
wayhey join the club :D:D:D:D

Need to see if the 2 E-type jag tailpipe will clog up with mud :D 1972 3.5 Rangie v8 and lazy autobox in mine. Bigends knakered, tappets kanckered, camshaft knackered. 1psi oil pressure when hot  But she'll still do the 50mile round trip there and back at 70mph up the rabbit run! :D |
:D
Yeah but worth it. Got a lift kit arriving this week and then I'll need some wheel spacers to increase the track so the fecker doesn't topple over. :D |
I assume the V8 in an SJ bit is a joke?
|
I used to have a V8 lightweight.
Went to the states for a year and left it with a mate. Got back and the fecker had b@stardised it to keep his going and all I had left was a rolling chassis. :D |
v8 in a SJ...its been done
nutters :D |
On sunday we got pretty silly and went in some seriously deep water pits and up and down some mad inclines and declines.
Nearly rolled it a couple of times and at least one wheel was off the floor most the time. The place out at Fourmarks is great. £10 for all day. I didn't get stuck once and ended up pulling out V8 landies, Niva Cossaks, etc. :D I haven't cleaned it and it is sitting outside work now, still caked in mud (Inside and out) lowering the tone of the neighbourhood. :D |
heh, looks great fun, first car was an SJ, my only regret is I never did any serious off roading with it!
|
Found our lighty on the side of a welsh valley - been stuck there for the best part of 13 odd years.
All up and running now. But planning for the next mods 130bhp is'nt enough :D (well, its more like 100 with knackered cam) Trying to source an EFi Rangie engine and a ZF auto and transfer box. Got most of the EFi bits just need the whirry bits :D |
Stevie.
No mate. I am deadly serious. Just waiting for this engine to give up. Not too long now  as it's burning loads of oil and the cluch is fecked. Then it's off to find a donor engine and box and getting to work on it. :D I'll post pics up oince I have done it. |
