You Only need a pozidrive and a flat blade, a cloth to stop you from damaging the trim.

The lower vents take some getting out, but you just need to take it easy and not get frustrated and damage them. It does make it easyer because you have the new panels and you can see were the fixing points are to help remove the old one's.

The gaitor and silver plate all come seperate so you need to bolt it to the gearstick suround and all the bolts are provided.

Its not a hard job to do, you just need to take your time so as not to damage anything.

Im just waiting for the handbrake suround and im also going to get the lid for the box on top of the dash.

It looks fantastic:D
When you fixed the alloy gear surround I take it there was no drilling involved??

No drilling it clamps over the suround then bolts down.

are there any instructions to take the plastic panels out or isit a case of trial and error???

BAH 16 April 2003 10:45 PM

no instructions, but as you have the new panels you can see were the fixing pints are. The hardest bits to remove were the lower vents on both sides, but if you get stuck ring jane or nito abd they will help you out.
