Thankfully I know that my mother is not at home at the moment so I have an hour to go out, get something and then come back home.

I wonder if she would appreciate a tank full of Optimax? :D ;)

Have just been frantically looking for the card the girlfriend got for me to give to Mum! :D Found it and dragged the flowers out of the car to score myself some brownie points! ;) :D

You lot have the wrong idea.
I have my mum trained to despise the commercialisation of Mothers Day and hence don't have to waste effort on cards or flowers.
