I am having a reet demoralising time of it at the mo.
Demo-ing XP Pro and Microsoft Office Suite to a largely unimpressed audience. :(

Anyone come across anything that might just wake 'em up

Just stick mame32 with a few choice classic games on it!!! That'll do the trick! As for the OS being impressive, hmmm well it aint is it? I still use Win2k cos XP *looks* nice but thats about it.

What's so exciting about IT, period?

I was involved in demo'ing some accounting software a few years back. Only people who got excited over it was the acccountants :)

I always cringe when I have to go along to one of those Microsoft events when they're launching new products. It's usually full of Californians who can get all excited over watching paint dry :)

I think I'd fall flat on my @rse if I had to stand up in front of our users here and show them how wonderfull XP or Office XP was. I could just hear some smart@rse say, 'OK, Stefan. impress me!'.

Thing is Stefan. If I were to drop my keks then I'd be guilty of depressing them as well :D

Plug in a DV camera and make a movie. Impressed me. Only other thing I can think of is the picture screensaver, but that's not going to get the juices flowing.
