Damn you guys - 68 views and no-ones got an opinion on my ride?
C'mon, let's hear the criticism "you should'a got a turbo" blah blah blah :) :P :D |
lol :) ...only get a turbo if you *want* a turbo ;) :D
Very nice! :) I love the wheels, really suit the car...and I agree, colour coding & getting rid of the orange is fantastic, makes the car look more "together":) Nice one  (sorry, can't spell) [Edited by Jen - 2/13/2003 7:55:32 AM] |
That looks one very clean car mate.
Nice wheels too keep posting pics as you add new bits, always nice to see a project in the making. Cheers Dan |
White MY98's rule. :D
I need to get mine colour-coded too really. |
C'mon, let's hear the criticism "you should'a got a turbo" blah blah blah Hope that helps :D |
Needs to be lowered mate
|
very clean looking... as Iceman says lower her, it will have a huge effect on the way she looks! :)
|
Beauty.....enough said.
Enjoy it! |
hey thanks heaps everyone, really appreciate the comments. Don't worry, I'm off to the wreckers this weekend to see if I can't find myself a few bits a peices.
ice man, DrEvil - I would consider lowering her, but the roads in NZ are littered with road humps, dipping driveways. It's like living on Mt Doom! I haven't got the bodykit fitted yet, and hopefully that won't alter the ride-height too much (thinking about an MRO kit as imported). I'll be posting a Q in suspension forum to get ideas about which springs would be good for my use. Jen, danny boy - for some reason I find myself totally turned off by wheels with more than 6 spokes, but unfortunately so many ScoobyNetters have wheels that look like spiderwebs! :) Any suggestions on anything |
nice car m8 love a white scooby but would say that
my00 pure white sport, in the process of moding,,, love your wheels,,, http://images.fotopic.net/?id=264102&outx=600&oq=0 http://images.fotopic.net/?id=291931&outx=600&oq=0 you can just make out the turbo bonet and c/coded sides clear ind,s on the way..... |

Hi Huffer, Welcome to Scooby Net ! Kings springs (NZ) do progressive rate springs in standard, low and super low sizes.. I have a set of super lows with 17's on my white WRX fridge, roads in NZ are'nt that bad !! ;)
[Edited by Crusty - 2/14/2003 11:04:01 AM] |
Huffer I bet you still get plenty of glances.
Lets have some pics on the progress... |
newport, Krade, Nick - thanks for the comments! :)
Crusty! Nice to see I'm not the only Kiwi on this board! I beg to differ with you over the condition of NZ roads though - you ever done a Wellington-Palmy-Napier-Taupo-Hamilton-Auckland circuit? It's like the WRC! :D Seriously now, how do the King Springs go for you? I'd be looking at a 35mm drop at most, what did you do? |
need to get the mirrors done
|
tru dat barge, tru dat.
I'll be getting that done the same time I do the handles and the rear spoilers. Which might take awhile as it's not a big mod, and I'll do the big stuff first (powerplant increase!). :D |
Hi Huffer, Yeah the Super lows are the 35mm drop version. These work 100% on my car... I'm using KYB - AGX shocks with them, nice upgrade without being too hard !! ;)
|
Yo Crusty - I checked out some of your pics man - that's some wicked stuff you and your car have been in - I can't believe the amount of modding you've done! I think I'll have to go find a copy of Hi Octane and get a better look. Next time I'm in Auckland I'm going to keep my eyes peeled!
King Springs you reckon? Hmm - I'll have to check it out with the boys here in Welly. Cheers! PS. How bout them Blues this weekend, did you Auckers proud huh? :) |
She's not much, yet, but she's all mine. :)
