There was a thread many eons ago that mentioned some speaker cable so thin you could stick it to the wall, paint over it and it was virtually invisible. Anyone got any idea where to get some ? :)

Do you mean flat 'Selotape' stuff or hair fine stuff? I used the Selotape stuff and it seems to work well, A nightmare to unravel though as it coils up right away and is hard to get straight again.

got it from here http://www.beyondhifi.net/shopping/P....asp?CatID=161

Got some very flat stuff, about 1.2mm thick, 20mm wide. Sounds very good, but can't tell you the make, as it is buried ;)

I saw some ultra thin ribbon cable 10 core speaker wire a while back

100 quid a metre tho, but was made of silver, supposed to have been excellent quality, but I imagine it would have to be at that price

you could fold this over, lay it under your carpet etc etc

Rimo, thats the stuff I got, except mine was 30 quid not 60 for the same cable. Innovations markup strikes again?

Daz34 11 February 2003 09:40 AM

Do you mean flatline speaker cable??
I have some. It is excellent quality & coated in Teflon to protect the wiring.

I can supply this at £9.99 per metre if this is any interest.
Or £224.99 for a 25m drum/ £399.99 for a 50m drum

Is this what you mean?

RiMo - That looks like top stuff. I'll look around for some more agreeable prices.

Thanks Neil too for the link :)
