Beef 16 February 2000 12:25 AM

Worst I've seen is an Escort GTi with a BIG Ford logo on each side. Ugly...

Stupot 16 February 2000 02:00 AM

The other day I passed a red G plate Supra turbo with a funny logo. Along the bottom of the door it said in bold italic letters, THE SUPRA TOUCH. Tasteful eh?

Stu

Dave S 16 February 2000 10:04 AM

There's a J reg 2.0 Carlton round here with - you've guessed

'Carlton' down the side in 12" italics.

I'd like a sticker which says, 'my other sticker is funny'. Actually I wouldn't really.

Dave

dazdavies 16 February 2000 11:30 AM

I would like a sticker on my 911 which says my other Cars a scooby!!!!!!

dsmith 16 February 2000 02:31 PM

Nightmare 16 February 2000 02:37 PM

friend has a little note across the bottom of his 'blades number plate which reads..

'single seater porsche eater'

Ian Cook 16 February 2000 03:36 PM

Funnoest i have ever seen was a J reg 1.3 Pale Blue Escort with "Blue Thunder" down the side in 12 inch high letters.

B E A T U

Sonic 16 February 2000 03:52 PM

Not so much of an on car sticker - rather a distressing sun-visor type sticker (you know the Kev - Tracy type thing) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

.. on a pale blue Escort as well (not sure of the year) .. female (as far as I could tell) driving, it said

"Angel on a mission"

If you'd seen her and if she is indeed an angel, I can only say one thing .. pray your going to hell.

Sonic.

Oz 16 February 2000 03:55 PM

Mildly amusing parody of Toyota catchphrase seen on a motorbike....

"The car in front...
...is now the car behind!"

DaveU 16 February 2000 04:08 PM

Mike Rainbirds numberplate (in small letters underneath):
"Considerably faster than you!"

Quite amusing as at the time he wasn't (broken diff - ouch!)

Andrew Dixon 16 February 2000 04:11 PM

Some of the stickers on Jap imports can be highly amusing. Saw an MR2 with something written on the rear screen along the lines of 'The blessed harmony of man and tuned machine.' Nice.

Andrew

Nightmare 16 February 2000 04:44 PM

If you can read this, you're faster than you look....

Andy Tang 16 February 2000 05:07 PM

There's a red 4-door WRX in the Surrey area, with 'WRX' in gold letters about 18" high!!!!

Is this why our insurance is costing more?? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Fullonloon 16 February 2000 05:11 PM

My friend has << Fu*king Flying >> on the front windscreen of his old escort, and a few years back on an RS Turbo in bright yellow letters, or some bright colour, along the rear bumper was:

WARNING! EXCESSIVE BHP

Hah!

Yex 16 February 2000 05:23 PM

On a lovely ZX-R7 at Goodwood last year - "My other bike has tits"

My sapphire cossie was originaly owned by a profesional boxer. It's registration H1TEM.
no wonder all the panels were straight http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

My 2nd rally car had in 3 foot lettering on the floorpan PTO, guess what happened to the 1st. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

DavidG 16 February 2000 06:38 PM

Saw a battered old motorbike once. The smeggy git riding it had crudely painted on the petrol tank the words "Fanny Magnet".

Not sure if it was on the BBS but I recently saw a picture of a guy riding a motorbike and on the back of his t-shirt were the words "If you can read this the bitch fell off".

Shark 16 February 2000 07:21 PM

Make of this what you will, but I know of a Mk3 escort with 'my other toy has tits' on the front and rear plates - how long did he keep that girlfriend http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Philip Thurlow 16 February 2000 07:34 PM

my mate (the one that wants me to get my scoobie to do 180 mph so he can see how fast his bike is going) well on his old bike he had a sticker on his bike it said "FucX off you ****in Pigs" and he got pulled for speeding - he got 3 points for speeding and £150 fine for an explicit sticker on his bike
He also had to stand up in court and explain the meaning of these wise words
*I condem the above - very naughty and all my mates are policeman/women *

IainT 16 February 2000 08:08 PM

Theres a Honda CRX that I've seen around Chippenham area a few times thats blue with the old Shelby Racing parallel white lines from the front to the back right down the middle of the car!
Oh and on the back window it's got Smooth Operator in big white letters!!
Made me laugh on an otherwise dull commute!

Grubby 16 February 2000 08:12 PM

In Aston yesterday saw an RS Turbo with stick-on plastic letters on the boot - SORTED

ChrisB 16 February 2000 08:20 PM

Saw a red Vectra near home (Stoke-on-Trent)today.

Big 17 or 18" alloys slapped on it, with two white 2 or 3" Viper / Cobra stripes running from the bonnet tip all the way down to the boot lid.

Had LS or GLS badges on it.

I nearly crashed laughing so hard http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif.

Chris.

Nick Lines 16 February 2000 09:17 PM

What? No-one's mentioned that every cabriolet over the age of 5 years old has to sport the word "cabriolet" down the side?

I believe it's a condition of sale now. Especially XR3i's.

Perhaps it aids finding the car? Oh, and one of the delivery Micras in Leeds has "the MICRA touch" in the rear window...

Danny Fisher 16 February 2000 09:50 PM

There is an old (rusty) ford capri, white, with the wrost joke I have ever seen on a ford.....

LADYS MAN

Who is this joker trying to fool.

Tim Bomford 16 February 2000 09:54 PM

Friends clapped out Sierra in the shape of the Ford logo "Fuct", don't know what it's supposed to mean though http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
