Bit of a dilema folks!! Keep the STi7 or go for the P1?? Your comments please.
|
Sti all the way!!!:D:D:D
In your colour, it's a loverly mota!!!!:D Dan :) (Silver 5dr MY95 from by T5YW  ) ;) |
Tony,
with PPP you wouldn't be asking the question  without sell it and buy a Skoda  Tony |
Keep the STI7, will be awesome with PPP.
Rob. |
Havin had both at the same time, I would say keep the STI 7.
Seems like a different car now after 9k, than when it was new. Once it's on boost feels as quick as the P1 did. Just a shame the PPP is needed to make it a bit more driveable at low revs. |
Spark,
I think I convinced you (especially after your very quick PPP'd RB5) that the bog standard STi7 will go and handle :D:D:D remember Banbury to Worcester :D perhaps should take Tony out for a run:) Tony |
Thanks all - but you have got to admit that the P1 is a bit of a looker though. Did the test drive yesterday and thought the spring on the STi7 were harder. Oh what have I gotten myself into - last week it was a Porsche Carrera 4 with GT3 Aero kit and 18's in silver for 40K (my99).
|
Did I forget to mention a UK spec 22B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????????
|
Tony,
Don't waste your money :D put PPP and PHP on your STi7 or get a S202 :) Tony |
Has anyone seen the new facelift model for next year? What a .....!!!!!! Kinda cross between Honda Integra and a Lexus. Now thw old classic shape looks more and more appealing.
|
the 22 will be a classic.
|
the 22 will be a classic. |
The 22B is the definetive classic scoob :D:D:D
but the new kid on the Block is the S202 (with bugeyes :D:D:D) time to move on :) or we will still be wearing Tank Tops or White 'n' Tarten bay City Roller gear In fairness bugeye wasn't the best inhancement made  if they'd made the WRX lighter and fitted Front & Rear Torque diffs :D thus improving Power to Weight and handling a lot more Classic shape owners would have moved on from MY96/8's to MY01's and not to MY00's. After all did buy Subaru's for Looks/Paintwork/Interior/fuel economy or price :D LOL NO because of Handling and Power. IMHO |
spot on Tony, my only problem is the s0202 is only avalable in YELLOW:O but I would like to have a go.
I have just got used to the bugs, but now there is to be a new car next spring that has the head lamps from a new intergra, doh doh and double doh. they really have no idea, I think that tony should show em how to eat a cow and then they will be men and design cars full of testosterone :D Speaking of which, I have just found a RB5 with only 16.5 k for 14k another classic bargin:) |
James,
You are as wrong as I :D they do 4 colours in the S202 :D:D there will be to at the northern meet on Sunday :D a Yellow and Blue one:D:D:D:D Tony |
coming round to yet another reality check - I think I'll keep the STi7 for the mo. Nothing wrong with it. Would like to see what the PPP does for Tony b4 I commit.
Who's for an evening meeting in Droitwich - I know an excellent venue? loads of parking and great food!!!! |
Tony,
Would be well up for a meet:D in the week if you like:D long as you make it 20-28 October but not the 24th as going to the motor show:D Don't suppose this resturant would have an Eastern theme:D:D Tony O/K go on then you can have a blat in mine when PPP is fitted. once you try it you'll buy it:D Mines near 6 months old 5 kmiles now so going to get it serviced (criminal I think to go 10kmiles or 12 monthes :(IMHO :D Prodrive springs :D and PPP soon I hope |
Weekdays are great, especially midweek. I'll make the reservations - anyone else interested? We'll make it a private party. SIDC discounts allowed.
|
