You said you had 440 on greys mate, not me.

LMAO at what point did i ACTUALLY say its faster, i told you a couple of facts...

Mine is a shed, not really fussed, cossie, i know feck all about cars so :p

NF anyone ;)

But the new engine is of higher spec than that so i really don't give a feck.

As for tuners Lynne, you know nothing, so you should keep you opinion's to yourself and not bring our differences to the public. VERY SAD.

PS never had any experiences with GGR, i know they are expensive and there stuff never perform's

:D

Dingy I do keep my opinions to myself re. tuners as well you know - you're the sad one who is always spouting off about them....so 'n so is w**k - so 'n so are cowboys - so 'n knows f**k all blah blah blah - gets boring after a while!! I don't claim to know feck all about tuning thats why I pay to have my car done!! If you know so much - why don't you become a Turning Consultant?

[Edited by Redkop - 9/20/2002 5:08:06 PM]

Greggers 20 September 2002 05:06 PM

Not being funny Shingles, but Lynne's right - let's face it....you fooking hate all tuners dintcha?

Redkop 20 September 2002 05:09 PM

Greg for that - I hope Spurs win tomorrow :D :D :D

co55ie 20 September 2002 06:39 PM

We will see dingy I look forward to spanking you. I very much doubt the spec of your car is very much better than mine mate.
Seems like you don't have a sensible answer to my questions so I guess your just spouting ****e about oil breathers etc.And I just know you believe Bailey swirl pots work too.
Good idea start up your own tuning company modifying inflatable beach products.
Oh dear the MK2 enough said not exactly rapid was it. LOL

dingy 20 September 2002 07:25 PM

Cheers greg, and what do you do.....

Lyne, on experience, you have none, you are bringing on to the BBS
as for slaggin tuners off, erm 2 blown engine, loads of BS from the ones that i have mentioned FFS....i spoke to you in confidence as a friend, guess that means nothing to you.

Very sad also you keeping MSN logs and emailing them to people.

Cossie, you doubt loads ;)

i will never do the pod again as its wheel spin central, so spank away, last time did a 14 sec of wheel spin @ 124 mph so no real point on road tyres.

You are running a t4, very old hat....time to move on....

8 greens, time to move to T6 and new injectors ;)

I aint telling you the spec of mine as its all new, none of the 15 year old spec's.

Slag me off as much as you want mate, i really don't care.
:p

Marco Polo 20 September 2002 07:42 PM

dingy 20 September 2002 07:45 PM

Cossie, what car do you have exactly ?

Redkop 20 September 2002 07:51 PM

Never said I have experience or knowledge Dingy, because I don't where cars are concerned - after all I am female aren't I - so that makes it, that I know absolutely fcuk all doesn't it in your eyes? But I am allowed to have my OWN opinion and unlike you I don't expect everybody to agree with me - unlike you and your opinions!!! Think you are the SAD one here. Haha proof of that on RSOC bb you are one pathetic individual.

Marco Polo 20 September 2002 07:54 PM

Steve

I knew you couldn't hold it in m8,and now all hell will break loose ;)

dingy 20 September 2002 07:57 PM

You brought this up, your the one emailing our conversation from MSN, how am i the sad one.....

I don't take any sh1t from anyone, first time that happens i move on, now i have no tuner as all have spoke to or dealt with rip you off or talk BS.

Redkop 20 September 2002 08:34 PM

Marco Polo 20 September 2002 08:39 PM

Co55ie

i will have to find out your true identity ;) you have 500+bhp, i will ask Darren at GGR, i will find out who you are , but I won't broadcast who you are ;)

co55ie 22 September 2002 09:59 PM

Dead right about the Manifold that is why I threw this spanner into the works to see if Dingy knew his stuff. Exactly right for 420 bhp plus a 2wd manifold is used.
And if your mates car has a 4wd manifold it aint kicking out anything above 420 - 430 bhp richard.

co55ie 09 October 2002 11:05 AM

convince yourself that a scooby is worth spending 13k on ? whats the difference ? Performance costs and at the moment I have it and you don't plus my SIERRA is worth more than a late 90's scoob. I have been offered 15k for it so far.
To get 380 bhp from an evo costs around 12k before you start to sort the rest of the car according to the P.E site this is as much as I spent in total and I have around 440bhp and 400lb/ft.
2.9 - 60 at trax by a 330bhp saff cossie didn't see any evo's scoobies get anywhere near close to that.

[Edited by co55ie - 9/10/2002 11:10:03 AM]

co55ie 09 October 2002 02:35 PM

The cossie 4by4 saff in question is running standard internal's T3 803'3 3 bar map etc and kicks out around 330bhp XR4 driveshafts check the owners spec on RS site. The fastest car on the day.
GET YOUR FACTS RIGHTS before YOU think you know everything scooby owners.

TonyBurns 09 November 2002 11:03 AM

Im not the one who doesnt know what they are talking about, you are co55ie, the fact that you say people add cosworth parts to their cars like pistons etc, well thats cosworth engineering, its an independant company, the people who build cosworth engines is another department to them and they are owned by ford so basically your car has nothing to do with cosworth except the engine, its not even been made by cosworth to start with so without that engine your going to drive something like a kak3 :p
My car on the other hand has its engine built in house and didnt need it made by someone else because they can actually make their own engines :p and how many big powered uk cars out there?
Rich wild has one, its pushing 344bhp (on the last rolling road day) and cost about 2k if that to get it there :p not bad for a car that started life with only 208bhp is it?
You also havnt seen that Subaru are bringing out a 3ltr flat 6 engine that will produce 250bhp, now there is some tuning potential ;) no turbo's no superchargers but no doubt it will have been designed with turbo's in mind ;)
No doubt your going to waffle on about the focus rs, a car that so far has been slated by the motoring press for its abilities on a/b roads that have slightly undulating surfaces, now also the focus cosworth, a car that supposedly has a mazda designed engine (yes i know that ford part own mazda  but no doubt you didnt :p).
Also before you waffle on even more and bore everyone sensless, you talk about how tunable the cosworth engine is, so how long did it take before there were any 500bhp cars in this country? 10-15years from start of production? It would have been something like that and how many 700+cosworths do you see?
Errrrrrrrrrm NONE!
Reasons why?
Because people dont want to spend that much money on them when they can go out and buy something better, simple fact, and if you think its all about power then think again, John Felstead said it all, its basically about handling and stopping and without this whats the use of big power?
No doubt because it rains 60-70% of the time in our country, you dont take your ford out (its not a cosworth its a ford, cosworth is your engine!) and due to the fact that your car has (supposedly  400bhp which by the way you havnt proved! ;)) then it will be all over the road at the first sign of rain
So looking at those facts, do you drive a mondeo?? :p

Tony have alook at the price guide sourced from the RS Owners club
3 Door 5,000 - 15,000
RS500 12,000 - 20,000
Escort 10,000 - 20,000
Saff rwd - 9,000
Saff 4wd - 11,000
Strange that my own car was valued at just shy of 15k by my own insurance company for my agreed value policy.
Great try an 850 bhp YB used in a mondeo strip car oh dear 500 scooby power seems rather inadequate now.
Seems like you wish to argue black is white your scoob engine is pants.
Strange I can pick up a 95 scoob for 4k and a new one for less than the value of my own car.
Rich Pon it is hardly surprising that you have had to spend cash on your car it is not exactly new anymore and any car with that kind of power is going to need cash chucked at it to keep it reliable regardless of brand.
290 bhp is hardly breat is it just over a level one tune.
Build your car for 500 bhp and then run it at 450 ish and it will be reliable as nothing is stressed
400 bhp conversions are running at there limit and not very reliable.
