just wondered if any other Scoobynetters were going over to the `24 hour` race this weekend.

Looks as if Audi are pretty confident about repeating last years success, but should be a good year for the Brits with MG and Bentley putting in an appearance.

Scoobyboy, hope you make it with the Stag, I took a Works Morgan in 1999, worst, most uncomfortable trip I`ve ever had to Le Mans, Good Luck m8.
This year I had the option to take a Dodge Viper (drool) Suggested it to my editor, who said no probs so long as I paid the fuel bill (sh!t) can`t afford it.

Richard, wish I`d known you were interested, could have arranged something, next year eh!

We're going! 12 of us staying at the Normandy centre parcs for a week and up for the race this weekend. Look out for a silver MY95 (Magnex bb http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif ) being chased by 106GTI, A3 1.8T and Celica.

Fantastic last year, loads of sccobs too. We spent most of the time at Arnage corner - look out for me 555 cap!

shall be going in a convoy of two silver K-plate WRXs, plus a load of other cars...which we will leave at Cherbourg! (The bikes will leave <I>us</I> behind though!)

Plan to catch morning ferry from Portsmouth on Thursday, and possibly have a few jars in Gace on the way down in the evening. Hope to head for the circuit on Friday afternoon, and then let the drinking commence!! Will hopefully also witness the antics on the public, err I mean private, road alongside the pit straight again this year!
