Hello all, I’ve paid on here for some random bits to be sold or even given away and thought whilst I’m at it I will advertise my car (NOT TO BE GIVEN AWAY)

I’m just testing the water, I’m off work this week AND all next week and I plan on carrying on with the underside refresher with pictures to follow 👍

im NOT advertising the car because I need money, it’s rather personal the reasons and I’m still taxed, insured etc to drive my pride and joy...and I will keep doing so if it doesn’t sell ✊

A LITTLE ABOUT THE CAR: I bought it in June 2018 COMPLETELY STANDARD on 60000 miles. It stayed off the road until December 2018, then I got a tonne of work done at scoobyclinic to make even better! 95% of the work on my pride and joy has been carried out by either scoobyclinic or adge at adgespeed.

EXTERIOR:
Not much...zunsport top and lower grill
debadged...boot was sprayed a few weeks ago and looks fantastic
detangoed headlights

INTERIOR:

the interior is in great condition and I’ve kept it that way with the seat covers...the only extra is the depo gauges (oil pressure,oil temp, boost)

it has an upgraded radio but I’m not clued up as to whether it’s good or not..it works fine so happy days.

VERY CLEAN INSIDE AND SMELLS NICE

I Have a folder full of receipts for all the work carried out which comes to more than 10g...I’d like someone on here to buy it to look after it like I have done 👍

NEGATIVE POINTS:

1. whilst I was underneath the car cleaning it up I poked my finger through the standard headers 😓 My plan with this car If it doesn’t sell is to upgrade them anyway so I’m not to bothered-still drives great

2. clicking noise from front left side wheel area when turning right- outer cv joint or whatever

IM GETTING THESE BITS SORTED MYSELF OR I WILL KNOCK £500 OFF THE PRICE IF SOMEONE BUYS IT WITH THESE ISSUES.

FINAL WORD: I see cars for sale on eBay, pistonheads etc and they don’t even have the decency to hoover the damn thing out!! Wash it with water 🤦🏻 . You could go buy it and find all kinds of rust issues underneath. THIS CAR IS A SAFE SOLID BUY. PLEASE CHECK THE PICTURES IN MY THREAD. I wouldn’t have the decency to sell my car to a fellow enthusiast knowing it’s hiding some “major “ issues...that’s not me. My job/work use to be lenient on private use on work vans but that’s all changing, I’d drive my family all over the place in it but that’s coming to a stop. I don’t want a “cheap” run around so looking at getting something “nice” . I can get finance on a nice car tomorrow but I’d really not because I don’t do debt. If I don’t get the asking price for my Subaru it won’t be getting sold. NO P/X either...this car has never been LAUNCHED OR TOP ENDED...IT DOESN’T EVEN HAVE LAUNCH CONTROL, ANTI LAG ETC.....NO PISTON SLAP...OIL PRESSURE WHEN WARM IDLING 2BAR...WHEN DRIVING 6BAR...BOOSTS TO 1.5...OIL TEMPERATURE SITS BETWEEN 90 and 100 degrees (synionic oil)

I HAVE LOTS OF SPARES IF ANY POTENTIAL BUYERS WANT THEM.

price £18000 or £17500 with minor issues

Hello all, thought I’d give this thread an update...

the car has hardly been used but I have bought the following items to go with the car. Unfortunately I’m not feeling the love for it (went for a drive at the weekend)

UPDATE: hello all, so someone paid me a deposit (£300 non refundable) to take my car off eBay and take Saturday morning off work so he could pick it up...he’s pulled out now, I’m not mad or bitter as I’m not bothered if the car sells but I WONT be advertising on eBay again AND I will be progressing with the power upgrades so the bits for sale are no longer available...next is injectors and turbo choice ✊

it’s a love hate relationship but I gotta admit it’s dirty at the moment so it’s time to make it shine again 👌

on a positive note, I’m off work today for the first time in ages thanks to this time waster and his deposit will cover my wages ✊
