The part number shown above doesn't relate to the model (possibly a legacy) and is for the steering Angle sensor not the roll connector, so yours may already have been changed at some time.

The three components highlighted above are listed below

Equivalent UK Hawk parts would be

@Don Clark it’s from my s204 if that makes any difference

No mention of STI specific parts

Anyway, you are only after the roll connector part

Am I right in thinking that it's this gadget that turns your indicators off after finishing a turn?

The roll connector/clockspring, call it what you will, is the ribbon cable assembly that connects all your steering wheel functions to the rest of the car allowing for rotation of the steering wheel.
The combi body switch assembly that the stalks, steering angle sensor and roll connector are connected to contains the cancelling function for the indicators.
Within the three items there will be a sleeve that rotates the roll connector and angle sensor plus a cam to operate the indicator stalk cancelling lever

A better illustration of the break down from another model

The small white lever on the stalk is the cancel mechanism

The UK and JDM Roll connectors are different as shown in previous posts
UK item ends in FE040
JDM version ends in FE030
What the exact difference is no idea but probably the number of connections available.
Pre-Hawk versions are also different as they don't allow for the inclusion of the angle sensor.
Bug AE010
Blob FE010

Looking at the ebay link above for a blob roll connector, it looks as if the sleeve that acts against the stalk lever is most likely part of the underside of the roll connector.
Easiest way to see if the lever is broken is to remove the stalk and test the cancellation action manually. You may even be able to see the condition of the sleeve and whether the cancelling section is damaged.

Not reading all the above :lol1: but remember the indicators are the other way about.

crazyspeedfreakz 08 November 2021 06:55 PM

I’m so confused now it’s untrue 😂

@Don Clark so your saying I need a hawk jdm clock spring
and thats all that will work…
also where do I find these codes to
make it’s correct the one, the only one I can see is on the front on the white label
but that didn’t have any code like the above you posted

crazyspeedfreakz 08 November 2021 07:06 PM

The only hawk jdm clockspring I can see is Ł130 on eBay seems alittle steep
but it is via bn Europe 😣😣
