Fitting was very easy probably due to the stiffness of the lip, However my drill didn't work and ended up using a Swiss Army knife.
The quality is exceptional.
It's hard to believe I've had it a year and not used it, the car that is.
Thanks everyone for the advice.

Looks good 😎

Cheers Iain👍 I was going to replace the wheels to 18" but apparently the wheels on are worth a bit so I'm looking at changing the colour which is a big debate in our house, I thought Black and my wife fancied Flitter Gold & my son said anthracite.😤

ZANY 16 February 2021 07:05 PM

Another vote for Anthracite 👌

Gold lol :thumb:

johnoggy 16 February 2021 09:12 PM

Gold :)

Bravo478 17 February 2021 01:01 AM

To get the right Gold I would have to go to the Wheel Specialist but their reviews aren't very kind or Romax who are superb are limited with colours so would probably end up with Anthracite from Romax.

NOSSY_89 17 February 2021 08:55 PM

Wheel Specialist seems to be in Brum. Didin't realise you were travelling there. If you are there are 2 places that mates have been to.

Wait I think we might be talking about 2 different companies, the one in Brum seems to have a lot of good reviews.

The Wheel Specialist is a franchise up and down the Country, one practically in every County unfortunately the one near is the pits.

johnoggy 17 February 2021 09:01 PM

Hi Bravo, i didnt realise you were in Stockton, im in Eston so not far away, yes Romax are really good so if you go threre can you ask about the gold , i want to get my black wheels done ,:thumb:

Bravo478 17 February 2021 09:06 PM

Romax have a couple of Gold shades but still not the right one, I'm thinking Gloss black but don't want to look like Knight Rider🤭 Wheel Specialist can match the manufacturer colour but a lot of people complained about corrosion coming back after 3 months, never had any problems with Romax even after four years of having mine done.

johnoggy 17 February 2021 09:28 PM

im not a lover of black wheels to be honest mine where on when i got the car, there is a company up Blaydon Newcastle called Powdertech they are supposed to be really good, i need to get the wheels done on my xr3 too so might ask for a discount :norty:

This wheel was done by Romax/Anthracite, photo from my previous Blobeye Sti.

You mentioned Xr3😋 friend of mine back in the late 80s had the RS16i.
I never really appreciated motors back then, a lady I know has still got the Sierra Cosworth she purchased back in 1987 never been modified and is still garaged to this day.

Where did you buy the splitter. Looks very nice. I've noticed the centre door piller in carbon for sale as well. I'd add them if I can pick up one of the splitters. I've already broke a plastic and a fiberglass on there bloody high kerbs as well.

Bravo478 18 February 2021 08:45 AM

I got it from Scoobyworld, fitting was easier than I thought and had no little helpers.😉
