Bleeding PAS

Today I read a post where someone put do this without the engine on to reduce risk to the pump. I asked for a link and credit to the guy he sent me it. What do Subaru say. |
This is Zany's guide and work for me.
https://www.scoobynet.com/general-te...ing-fluid.html You should be topping up with fresh as the old comes out, while the engine is running, so at no point does the reservoir run out and introduce an air lock. If you're nervous you can remove the belt from the pump and use a rachet on the front of the pump to move the fluid round. It takes a while though. And you'll still need to bleed the system afterwards. |
