Insurance advice on minor 'modifications'
Looking to do a few small upgrades on my WRX300 but I am unsure what should be declared for insurance as a modification.
Scoobyworld mini mudflaps Zunsport lower front grille Front lower splitter Godspeed Grooved brake discs with Kevlar pads (standard size etc) Any advise would be appreciated Thanks |
All of it except the discs/pads |
Most are visual and won't effect performance and shouldn't effect premiums.
the problem you have is if your insurance want to be a dicck at claim time. if anything is on it that it didn't roll off the factory with will be seen as a mod. I'd get a price standard and then ask what's the difference with the mods. Declare everything it's safer. |

Hi.
If you're in any doubt then I'd recommend disclosing it anyway just to be on the safe side. Regards, Dan. |
Absolutely declare everything.
