Really don’t think that exhaust would hold it back. I run 430 on a 2.5 inch. Need some more boost to wake that turbo up. |

cheers ian. just what I needed someone running 400 + on a 2.5 cheers. agreed more boost but when we tried no joy. the tmic in std airbox with k&n wouldn't have it

got the rcm induction coimg. gonna leave the tmic. thinking of sending it back to lateral to change it to a h instead. probably make same power but less lag.

RCM fitted to mine. Tight with space though had to put a curve pipe on the inlet. still slightly touch’s the abs block and the bonnet but that’s the FMIC fault. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...da80eb59fd.png Do you have a dyno graph? |

I'm using a fujistubo Gikken on a 2.l currently making 392. I've fitted a 3" all the way to flange downpipe and had the 2.5" section of the exhaust cut off and a 3" flange welded on. Hayward & Scott supplied the downpipe and welded the 3" flange.
Previous to this the car struggled to make 377, I also opened up the factory exhaust headers. sti ra gc8. The mapper said the 565cc injectors are holding it up or else it would have broke the 400 pub talk bench mark.https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...e6197da22e.jpgimpreza gc8 fujitsubo gikken 3" |
interesting edsel mine looks identical but titanium, same number of boxes and 2.5 flange. my dump is a true 3 inch. so would you say keep the exhaust but fit a 3 inch flange
|
would you say you noticed it spool any earlier?
|
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...8f112655da.jpg The car is heavily modified running a mdx billet ball bearing 312h turbo so it spools really well without much encouragement. If the exhaust has 2.5 flange the down pipe must have the same. |

right so this were we are at currently . fitted the cold air induction. I now rin speed density but still need air inlet temps as I have removed the maf. do I fit it in the cone pipe or best in the tmic?.https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...38e2f15601.jpg
