does i have to do this too if an ESL board is installed in the JDM ECU that i want to install in an UK car? so for example: 6S STi V3 ECU with ESL daughterboard installed into an 98 UK car (8S ECU) .... does it start with the right map or does i have to resolder known the pins? |
I've been speaking to Andy at esl through email. I've decided to go with esl but let him build it up to save the arse ache of messing about installing it.he is away after this Wednesday for a few days so it will get done when he is back;)

I'm pretty sure you could put an 8s base map on a 6s ecu, you'd still need to swap some pins tho to run a jdm ecu in a uk car.
Nice one Rick, you diy mapping or going for a pro map? |
