Cars dropped off for the bits listed above, also decided to go syvecs S6. Can't see any point in mapping it again on ecutek, to just have it mapped again when a syvecs is fitted, so cut out the middle man lol

RAGGY DOO 14 January 2019 06:03 PM

Might see you at the clinic for a cup of joe mate
syvecs is the only way to go imo

Tidgy 14 January 2019 06:07 PM

Aye matey, your car arrived yet?

RAGGY DOO 14 January 2019 06:10 PM

Will be there tommorrow at some stage
just got a call dere from the transport company

Tidgy 14 January 2019 06:13 PM

Ah cool, i'm not sure what day mines gonna be ready, was talking mid week but that was before going syvecs which will need fitting.

RAGGY DOO 14 January 2019 06:43 PM

Will be well worth it lad
look forward to see pics and graphs

Tidgy 01 April 2019 04:47 PM

Ended up not going down the syvecs route, yet. car made 330/360 on stock turbo, injectors and ecutek map. Which was pretty much as expected.

Now bank balance has recovered a bit time for a bit more umph,

pmsl, why would i want a lag monster? lol

Tidgy 02 April 2019 09:17 PM

So picked the car up today, wow what a difference. spool has move dup the rev range which isnt surprising given the change in size of turbo, but even so pulls very strong even on the low boost it currently is,

https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...d649a3d7a5.jpg

and thats at 1.4 bar :o

RAGGY DOO 02 April 2019 09:20 PM

What turbo you go for in the end tidgy?

LewisScoob 03 April 2019 09:31 AM

I would say good numbers there but we don't know what turbo it is to comment :lol1:

I really like the look of your car Tidgy, I like the discreet rear end.

Why all the secrecy over the turbo? Is it a cheep Chinese turbo or something? Would have thought you'd have gone for a SC turbo being a SC man through and through.

If you're using a 500bhp turbo to achieve 380bhp then I would expect that to be somewhat laggy.

No secrecy, it's a new spec sc series one so I simply dont know what its gonna be called yet Haha

Yeah was always gonna loose some spool, some will come back when some parts are changed (headers, cat etc). But it's a monster on the road, I'll post up the boost graph in a bit cos it just hits full boost and stays there haha

Honest answer is I'm not actually sure Haha. I'll find out and report back.

Basic premise of the build is a 500bhp car that drives as close to a standard one as possible. (Althoigh will be a bit laggier of course.

Ah cool. That's my goal with mine too, although I'm aiming for 450bhp I want it to have as little lag as possible for the power target.

Tidgy 03 April 2019 02:48 PM

So official name is SC46X.

BrownPantsRacing 03 April 2019 03:06 PM

Ah, good to know. :thumb:

RAGGY DOO 03 April 2019 03:12 PM

epic, like two face is best way to describe it,

down low for tootling you would think its standard, smooth and just happy to potter around, then when you do give it large, the other face appears and it just pulls and pulls and pulls, and thats at 380 and low boost.

is this the same turbo that was fitted to the red hatch on their facebook page a few weeks ago? think in the comments they said it replaced the older sc50. it made 505bhp i think with great spool.
