Remap at Evotune?

Alright people

I'm looking at getting a remap on my 2.0 WRX at Evotune in Durham (400 pound). Just looking to see if anyone has used them etc and what results you got?

I've messaged a few mappers who won't go near a Scooby so been narrowed down to a few choices. Evotune is one of the closer one's, BTG performance as well, so just looking to see if anyone has any good/bad reviews at the minute lol.

Cheers :)

Pretty much same spec,

You got a swirl pot? I found I got a lot of fuel surge
with the set up.

I found this sorted it out.

I have a Hawkeye so still running on the MAF, it is pretty smooth though.

I do run 20% Bio Ethanol found this is a great addition.

When you getting your car back?

Get in touch with Andy Forrest. Nothing against Jamie at Evotune as I've had no dealings with him, but, I wouldn't use him as Subaru's aren't what he specialises in. Andy only maps Subaru's.

JDM_Stig 22 April 2018 06:55 AM

Andy f isn't interested in new classic customers, there is a thread on .Org about that.

Is that why he doesn't bother to reply to inquiries? He states he is hard to phone, says use email, and gives no reply.

A member on .Org made contact, and was told that due to lack of support from ECUTEK he wouldnt take on any new Classic Impreza customers.

That's only for an EcuTek remap though. The OP won't be getting an EcuTek map with licence for £400. ;)

its more because of the issues that pop up with them due to age from reading that.

being honest, I have found that the newer the car doesnt mean that there is less issues,
If the car has been looked after is the key, most dont care, I have cars turn up missing like a pig, the owners have no idea,
and then there is the Chavs . . . . . .
