The Mamba Actuator springs are only rated at their Bar pressure with the relevant preload set.

Im going to fit the 1.2 Bar spring in the aim of 1 bar actuator pressure, with no preload its rated at 1 Bar, then you have to have like 4mm of preload to get its rated 1.2 bar etc etc

i have now received my correct arm and wastegate pin coupler ( hopefully, havent fitted it yet) so will see how i get on over the easter break. Fair play to the guy i bought it from in taiwan, was helpful and sorted out the issue for me

Does anyone know if theres a way to see if motorsport features are enabled without connecting a computer to the ECU ? Is there a marking on the board or something?

nope - needs to be plugged in to confirm if the motorsport software is on as far as I know.

Most mappers or when you get the ecu back from ESL will have the LC set to ON rather than switched.
If you put the car in 1st gear, clutch in then plant your foot on the gas you will soon know if you have motorsport enabled, car will hold at 4k rpm and spit flames.
This isn't 100% as LC can be OFF or switched.

Im back :D

Samco intake hose,
Stock headers,
new gearbox (Blew 3RD on a pull)

heres a few logs

Let me know what you think, i feel i still have late spool.

i believe the key to unlocking quicker spool is understanding the turbo dynamics table (i will make another thread:D)

Smooth out your map by matching the engine load cells in the timing and fuel tables, same for the boost target and duty tables.

Your rev range is far to wide from 3400 to 5500 for duty cycles

instead of having min and max duty at 91 and 90 make both these 100 upto 3000 instead of 2900 to start with.

your target boost is too low below throttle postion 61 also id say.

Im gonna get that done now!

will smooth out the boost tables and smooth out the engine load to 52 ish.

still having that stupid lag issue that i suffered with my old headers, still on stock wg for TD05

The Rig 16 July 2018 02:12 PM

Looking at log GG3 you start to go full throttle at 3200 but dont actually put pedal to the floor until 3700 , agree you are laggy as fook as hit 1.3 bar at 4500 but you duty is still way to low to get peak boost earlier.

It took me a long time to get peak boost by altering WGDC at 3400 yet not overboosting and sustaining it.

Im running standard TD05 turbo on a 95 wrx with harvey up pipe with standard headers yet a 3" exhaust after downpipe and i hit 1.4 bar around 3400 if i full throttle it 3000

Your duty at 5800 rpm and above in the log is 67.6 yet your max looking abve is 61.2 lowering to 54.9 with minimum of 40

hamzi95 16 July 2018 04:26 PM

Yeh i can work on my wg duties.if i go 2 aggresive on my min wg duties i overboost hard in 5th on motorway cruising.
when i wound my wastegate shut with some wire, i set rev limit to 4.5k and did a gear 3 pull i hit my boost cut of 1.6bar at just over 4000.

i think i need.to get the correct mounting/arm on my mamba wastegate.

Is this with the stock WG actuator. And if you dont mind, can you post some pics of ur wg duties so i can compare it to myself.

Also since we are running a similar setup, what do you drop ur ignition timing to at spool up? and what do you bump it up to after pq torque ?

Orange maf, 440s, rcm 340, samco inlet, lightweight flywheel, td05 front entry, FMIC.
