Rotated turbo kit/injectors

As it says above I am looking for a rc rotated setup and a set of 1200/1300cc injectors.
Thanks

Billet 14 August 2017 08:30 PM

1300cc deatchwerks here £375. topfeed. GR performance rotated kit £650

Mr Overboooost 14 August 2017 09:08 PM

Hi
Have you got any pics of the kit and injectors.
Is the up pipe 4 bolt or v-band to the turbo.
Will the rc headers fit to them
Thanks

Arch 15 August 2017 11:05 AM

I have a set of ID2000's with little use £400

Mr Overboooost 15 August 2017 01:34 PM

The id2000 is probably a bit big for what I will need bit thanks anyway.

Arch 15 August 2017 09:06 PM

No problem what power/turbo are you planning on fitting

Mr Overboooost 15 August 2017 09:33 PM

I am going for about 600bhp
I am using one of Owen developments custom M series turbo which is basically a modified gt35 But to my spec which is good for about 660bhp.

Arch 16 August 2017 05:03 AM

I have the GT30 based mspec turbo it has had a larger compressor wheel fitted so is probably more like a 32 and it made 551bhp at the wheels and 630 bhp at the flywheel. The ID2000''s would not be too big I have seen people max out 1300''s on some fuels at the power level u are looking at.

Mr Overboooost 16 August 2017 09:24 AM

Oh I see maybe I should consider those then
Leave it with me and I will get back to you.later
What duty were the injectors running at that power

Mr Overboooost 16 August 2017 12:24 PM

Looks like there's to many conflicting opinions on what size to go for . From what I can see its running at optimum duty and spray pattern of the injector etc so slightly confusng .

BrownPantsRacing 16 August 2017 12:38 PM

Better too big than too small. I'd go with the 2000s personally.

B9SLJ 16 August 2017 01:27 PM

2000s for the power u are aiming for, like others say easy to max out 1300s

Mr Overboooost 16 August 2017 01:56 PM

I've heard going to big can cause running issue .

Arch 18 August 2017 12:57 AM

I have heard elvis is alive. I was running around 60 ish % duty on a pure race car at 2.1 bar of boost so if it was going to cause an issue I think I would have known very quickly. Andy Forrest didn't have any issues mapping it so maybe u just need a good mapper lol I seen no knock or any other issues and with myvsyvecs I was logging everything so I would know. Maybe a post in the technical section here would help 😂

Mr Overboooost 18 August 2017 09:21 AM

Yeh and I've heard bruce lee is still alive working in a Chinese takeaway. Well it didn't really start as technical issue but because of your most helpful comments I guess it is.

banny sti 18 August 2017 11:16 AM

Dont really like Arch so got no reason to help his sale but I ran ID2000s for 660bhp and they idled perfectly at 1k rpm, drove smooth off boost and round town. This is was on a syvecs ecu, they only other injectors I would personally consider is ASNU ones and think they go up to 1300 or 1600s.

Mr Overboooost 18 August 2017 12:26 PM

Ok banny thanks for you input I will consider that option.
What % duty are you injectors running at ?

Arch 18 August 2017 02:40 PM

Thanks Banny I don't really like you either lol but appreciate the comment.
I am not really trying to push them they will sell anyway and I am not in a hurry. I was actually trying to help out by pointing out that a 1300cc injector may be marginal with that turbo especially on certain fuels. While it might not be a technical post people are actually trying to help you out. I will remove mine from the equation and leave you free to make your own choice :thumb:

Mr Overboooost 18 August 2017 02:57 PM

We can't all like each other but thanks for the advice as I am still considering those anyway as I havnt made my mind up yet . Christ it took me 4 weeks to decide what turbo I wanted
So its early days yet.
