Very impressive spec, it looks a beast.
Out of interest, what track was that?

Woojen 07 August 2017 09:45 PM

Thanks im really happy how it works on track, its either mantorp park or Anderstorp in Sweden :)
Great tracks!

Also sorry for the bad quality pics (mobile camera with a scratchy lens)

Woojen what paint code for bodywork did you use if you don't mind me asking? I love that grey, looks awesome.

Woojen 09 August 2017 08:42 AM

I dont have the paint code in my head but its the same as lamborghini use but we added some more layers clearcoat than they do so its a bit more "shiny" but still a bit "matte gray"

jaygsi 09 August 2017 11:01 AM

Really like that grey, looks like a silver paint mixed in with grey paint, either way looks smart, seems to have a different look in different lights. Those seats look a tight fit lol

derek sti 09 August 2017 03:10 PM

Mean as hell awesome stance.:thumb:

Woojen 09 August 2017 04:12 PM

Question! where can i feed the turbo with water? i have never used an water cooled turbo on any of my EJ engines :P so basicly how is stock feed and return placed?

best regards

debbiesonic 10 August 2017 10:20 PM

Stock feed and return is from the right hand cylinder head just behind where the stock turbo mounts and a port on the top of the coolant reservoir (the largest of the 3).

I would love to see some power graphs if you have any. Especially boost graph. You have very similar engine specs to me. I didn't opt for the expense of the big port heads though, how are you finding them with the Cosworth cams instead of avcs? Do you know what compression ratio you ended up with?

Turbovin 10 August 2017 10:21 PM

Ser bra ut! ;)

The coolant lines are connected to the expansion tank on the intake manifold and to one pipe from the cylinder head.

Woojen 11 August 2017 06:44 AM

Thanks guys! gotta reweld my downpipe and up pipe etc to make more space for the new turbo, was more rebuilding than i thought :D
Debbie i can show you my 449whp dynos graphs next time im in the garage.

Alright then its a easy job to find the water :) Thanks alot guys!

debbiesonic 11 August 2017 07:36 AM

:top:

It will be very interesting to see where the new turbo makes power compared to your current one.

yeah im also looking forward to see the new graphs, hitting full boost under 4500rpm is not needed really as the cams etc is tierd as **** down there, my goal is to have high power between 5000-8500rpm that should be doable

A Little update, fired up the car Yday and it was running rich , noticed that my IAT sensor was faulty, im happy that this happend now and not closer to the 25th, so a brand new sensor is on the way home now from Autronic :)

Woojen 21 August 2017 12:04 PM

A little uppdate
Its REALLY tight with this big turbo ^^ but its there now we just have to weld the last bits to make it fit perfect, but its all there pretty much!
https://image.ibb.co/gDWthQ/turbon.jpg

Another problem now is that my Autronic SM4 seem to struggle, my AIT is showing -20 degrees even with a new genuine sensor from autronic, the wirings have been checked aswell so i might have to send the box to australia to have this fixed

funkyrimpler 21 August 2017 02:28 PM

haha vicious!

Woojen 21 August 2017 02:41 PM

yeah gotta keep up with all fast evos in my region :(

The car is up and running! just the damn sensor left but hey it was tight :D

Woojen 21 November 2017 09:47 AM

Hello, was never retuned last season as i decided to go big power, so a brand new EJ2,35 short engine (RCM 700 kit) was ordered instead so the shortblock is going to be built now :)

jaygsi 27 November 2017 11:48 PM

Nice keep pictures and updates coming.

you wont regret doing a 2.35 block -the extra capacity will pull the 8374 onto boost much sooner and hit much higher torque numbers- i would speak to RCM but i would try for as high a compression ratio as you can manage as it makes the off boost performance much better and assists engine response-:)

Woojen 12 January 2018 09:30 AM

Just a little uppdate, most parts has landed , drilled my JDM big ports Avcs heads to 14mm and the rcm parts has arrived, bought all block and parts from RCM besides the rods, going with the new WISECO boostline 2000hp rods :) im going to let the pics talk for itself

Very nice build.

Cambs_Stuart 12 January 2018 10:01 AM

Lovely pictures. I do like a good engine build thread.
what about gearbox, diff and drive shafts? Will they take this power?
