New Exhaust Time!
In preparation for what is coming next on the aero front, I decided to knock up a new exhaust that would be based on a centre exit system.
This new system also works around the new carbon prop shaft that I’ve recently installed. After two long days fabricating & welding, I’m over the moon with the results! https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...c42cdab01.jpeg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...f96e62eba.jpeg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...b0a5af932.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...a3b0e54bd.jpeg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...b99dee362.jpeg |

Exhaust Wrap
Afternoon,
Got round to wrapping the exhaust this weekend, which is always a nasty job… the glass fibres in this stuff go everywhere no matter how careful you are, but it’s worth it once it’s done. The main aim was to protect the Carbon Fibre Propshaft, especially the U-Joint connections from heat, so fingers crossed this will help. A few tweaks to the roll bars front and rear, and we’re nearly ready for the track end of the month. Next job is to install a 2psi residual brake valve into the front line, to help with pad knock off. Enjoy the weekend folks! https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...47c06360d.jpeg |
