The engineering behind the Subaru WRX STI Type RA NBR Goodwood hill climber
Intresting video, where Prodrive discuss the technical aspects of the Subaru WRX STI Type RA NBR :thumb:

Yes, very interesting. Thanks for posting! :thumb:

Strange, no mention on using the WRX 5 speed for better acceleration and WRX droplinks for weight-saving? Does this guy know what he's going on about? :cuckoo:
In all seriousness though, great vid! |
Interesting video about a brilliant car.

It would be interesting to know if this interesting thread holds the interesting record of 'number of times the word interesting has been used in a thread per number of posts in the thread'. :)

Intressant, as we would say in Sweden. A very special car, hope it does well on the Nürburgring.

Beast of a car. Isnt this the one that did IOM too?

The differences between that car in the first two years and the final one were very noticable. It was quick to start with but unreal the last time. I watched at Kirk Michael and the car came at us like a whirlwind. Phenomenal is all I can say. That is one fast motor!

Thanks for sharing that video, was a great watch.
The pressure sensor for head lifting is a great simple idea! For any turbo car this would be a great feedback to the ECU to indicate a problem. Certainly on 2.5 Subaru's! :) |
Cool :thumb:
Such a shame Subaru and Prodrive aren't still involved in the WRC together. |

previous cars used were more road car based whereas this was built using the last WRC Hatchback as a donor car for various components |
