struggling to find a decent 500+ standard fitment turbo so on look out for a rotated setup to go on my 2.5 let me know what about or drop me a pm

B9SLJ 22 June 2017 06:00 PM

I'm waiting for a rotated set up too, they don't come up for sale often. Usually go for around £500 for uppipe and downpipe.

dooby-do 22 June 2017 06:16 PM

Im looking for the whole setup including turbo cash is waiting so just
Have to wait

domino46 22 June 2017 06:58 PM

buy a forced performance red , very happy with mine

B9SLJ 22 June 2017 07:13 PM

Whole set up probly be at least £1500 second hand so thers plenty of standard position turbos that will go past 500bhp for similar sort of money.
Precision 5530, gtx3076r can both be bought with standard fit exhaust housings and make over 500

bustaMOVEs 22 June 2017 07:21 PM

£1700 for full set up, gt30 with tail v Band housing and tail external waste gate, full exhaust which is side exit out of rear bumper but can easily be modified for normal exit.
Turbo done around 500miles and set up done around 800miles.
Made 533 at 2 bar on stock newage sti engine.
serious interest only!

No, it's a mate of mines set up, but jamie has pounced on it like a boss so prov sold for now.
Your still fishing for my brakes aren't you?

dooby-do 22 June 2017 08:01 PM

Both precision and red can only be brought from the states tho aint they or are there uk suppliers ????
As misssed out on the rotated

B9SLJ 22 June 2017 08:05 PM

Can buy precision from RCM or Owen developments, I'm unsure if thers a distributor in U.K. For FP turbos, I'm sure somebody on here will know for sure

bustaMOVEs 22 June 2017 08:17 PM

If buying a precision, contact sumo power as they can get them in a lot cheaper, I was quoted £1500 to my door.

dooby-do 22 June 2017 08:40 PM

The issue is with ordering from the states is the import taxs i can get the fp red and induction kit for around 1300-1400 but then have to pay 3-400 on import duty

bustaMOVEs 22 June 2017 08:55 PM

As said that £1500 was at my door all included. Sumo power have a better deal with the big suppliers .

dooby-do 22 June 2017 09:07 PM

Ill get onto them And see what they can do is that the precision 5530 and what will that make on vpower or 99 ideally i want 5-550 on pump fuel hence why i was going rotated but if i can get it on stamdard for same price ill stick to standard

I worked it out to be around £850 (sterling) plus import tax for turbo and intake ,, Owen developments stock are meant to be a supplier for them

mines 531bhp @ 1.75bar on vpower only

Ive placed a couple of orders with a well known store in the states dealing with the same guy each time and he was VERY helpful regarding importy duties and offered me a nice discount off their listed selling prices too.

I will pm you his details if you decide to go that route.

There's only 1 precision for direct subaru fitment.
I doubt you will see over 500 tbh unless a very well specced car with headwork and uprated cams etc, there's only a small few that have made over 500 on that turbo from what I've seen, most seem to make 470-490 ish.
I don't think no stock position is going to get you 550 on pump fuel, so your expecting a little too much for your requirement.
Mdx321v just about make 500, the Mdx321v+ make about 520-530 iirc.
To get upto 550 your going to need a thoroughly built car with fancy bits.

bustaMOVEs 22 June 2017 10:55 PM

I love collecting vat & duty off people when they get their stuff, the look on their faces lol.
No money, no item lol
Collected £65 today for something from Mumbai of a £150 order invoice

dooby-do 23 June 2017 06:08 AM

Dont mean 550 bang on i ment i would be happy anywere between 5-550 so if the car
Made 510-520-530 i would be happy with that and if i wanted more in future either a splash of meth or full rotated, im contact with a few companys in the uk and also chevron motorsport who will build on specific for my needs but will see were i stand and if not ill look further afield
