Good riddance.

I doubt he could have found the place Keith Bennett is buried now, even if he could remember. Moorland is notorious for changing over only a few years. It's been more than fifty.

IIRC, that was how the police "accidentally" found one of the bodies, the land had shifted and an elbow was poking up above ground.

The police in this case were next to useless. they only caught the murderers when they tried to involve someone else, who promptly grassed them up.

In fact, if you look back, almost all the big cases were solved not by clever police work, but by accident or information.

My sister worked with Winnie Bennett before she died, and told me Winnie still wept when Keith came into the conversation.

You should only say good things about the dead. Brady is dead - good.

I see there is now a discussion about where his ashes should go. Only one place they ought to go, down the toilet.
