and there go's one perfect reason for goverment torture. give me a pair of pliers and a corkscrew i would of got him to tell where be buried them, anyone else read about the bloke who came back from abroad to commit suicide on saddleworth moor ? can't help but wonder if there was a connection ?

I doubt he could have found the place Keith Bennett is buried now, even if he could remember. Moorland is notorious for changing over only a few years. It's been more than fifty.
IIRC, that was how the police "accidentally" found one of the bodies, the land had shifted and an elbow was poking up above ground.
The police in this case were next to useless. they only caught the murderers when they tried to involve someone else, who promptly grassed them up.
In fact, if you look back, almost all the big cases were solved not by clever police work, but by accident or information.
My sister worked with Winnie Bennett before she died, and told me Winnie still wept when Keith came into the conversation.
