What route to take to achieve about 320HP?
 

Hello folks,

the title more or less describes it, I've searched for similiar topics on the internet but didn't find something helpful for me.

My question is already written in the title.
My car is a Subaru Impreza WRX 2001 GD, Stock except HKS SSQV Blow Off and in the next few days a Toyosports 3" Catback. Also have a K&N Sport Air Filter if thats anything to go by. In the Future I'd like to achieve somewhere around 320HP. But how?
Just a simple ECU Remap won't do it I guess..
I've heard of the likes of Ecutek, but just redoing ECU and gaining more Power without any issues seems, I don't know, strange to me?
I'd like to have the car as reliable as possible with that power figure. (As everyone wants). So I guess I'd need to mod quite a bit to gain 100HP. What would be some suggestions on that route?
Not gonna do it in the near future, but sometime I will :)

What size injectors? 440cc?

Swap the turbo and remap if so. Your TD04 will never do 320 so needs a different turbo.

Vf35, sti pink injectors, sti tmic, open source remap. Job done, fairly cheaply. Don't forget brake and suspension upgrades.

THIS!,its been tried and tested over many years and does the numbers,and as said above it won't break the bank...Well not to much:).SJ.

Will keep that in mind... whats the tmic though?
