Tomei Expreme Ti Cat Back Exhaust System - Full Titanium - GC8/GDB Fitment

6 Attachment(s)
Basically a brand new system, fitted to my Type R for a couple of days. Far too loud for me so it has to go.

Cost me just over £1,000, and waited for 4 months for it to arrive!

The exhaust is a true master piece, really is a work of art. Its about the third of the weight of a stainless system!

But be warned, it is VERY LOUD!

Fitting kit and everything else is included.

This version of the exhaust is Part No: 440005

See here for more info and specs of the exhaust --> http://www.tomeiusa.com/_2003web-cat...i_muffler.html

Also note that this exhaust tapers to 2.5" where is meets the downpipe.

I can confirm that it fits GC8 Impreza's, even though it is designed for GDB models.

I am asking SOLD for it to include delivery.

Got one of these on my 2.35 blob.. they sound amazing but you will not get anywhere near a track with one. BUT if you want the best sounding exhaust this is the baby..

Cheers chaps, not much interest for it here so I think it will have to go on eBay sadly.

Dave Y 20 September 2016 01:58 PM

pity its 2.5 i love a bit of noise.

daveriley123 20 September 2016 07:58 PM

Could easily be stretched and a new flange welded on to suit a 3" downpipe. I have done similar in the past with great results.

scotty75 20 September 2016 10:24 PM

Why did you put this up now just before christmas man i would have this in a heartbeat if i had the money .

DoZZa 25 September 2016 01:37 AM

Any more interest before I put it on the wall in my office as a display piece!

Dave Y 25 September 2016 04:58 AM

I am interested in this but trying to find out where i can get it modified to 3 inch.

Ian 25 September 2016 08:58 AM

when i had my ti system on my classic, where it joins the DP, it went the same as above.

I had the flange cut off, and a slip adapter made up at a custom exhaust place that bolted to the DP , then was a slip join over the Ti system

you can see how here

Ask for a 76.1mm ID v band connection. You then literally cut both of your flanges off on the exhaust and down pipe. Weld this on and kt is held together with a clamp.

Any one who can weld stainless should be ableto weld the exhaust, however you may have to pay for them to get the correct rods etc.

Trying to source a 3" Titanium flange,no success so far.

malevolent_sti 26 September 2016 11:36 AM

I'm looking to try and do the same thing, keep us posted if you find somewhere that can do it! I've tried every "specialist" welder near me and no one can do it.

Dave Y 26 September 2016 12:00 PM

i have been on google most of the morning ,finding the flange is my problem.

GR Performance in Mexborough, but any decent exhaust place should be able to knock that up no problem :thumb:
