Advice needed
What do I need to get my wrx sti 1999 running around 400bhp.
2.1Stroker on semi closed deck ej207 12mm oil pump conversion sti yellow injectors walbro 255 pump vrf28 turbo eculabs ecu excedy stage 2 clutch standard 5 speed sti 5 speed box running around 320bhp 324lb ft Thanks |
turbo and injectors will get you there. 20g or sc40 or sc42 even md321h and prob 650 cc injectors. the gearbox is your weak point and def wont last at that power and torque. ideally you need a 6 speed.

5 speed wont hold that power, well not for long anyway.
740cc/800cc injectors MD321, SC40/42, 20g, FP Green turbo Decent FMIC Decent induction kit Mafless (not sure how good/bad the eculabs is) 3" decat system Either standard ported, rcm, gt spec, harvey headers Lower spec parts like a 2.5" exhaust, 550cc injectors + fuel pressure regulator etc will get it there but if you want to make 400+ comfortably you want to over engineer it. As said, gearbox is the weak point and wont last, 6 speed box/diff is what most, including me, run reliably. |
Have you already selected the 12mm oil pump? It's massive overkill. 12mm only really needed when running dual AVCS. I'd be tempted to swap for an 11mm as the 12mm will be on the pressure relief all the time.
