good result away at Celta, more of the same at OT next week & then roll on Sweden and a brilliant final WIN :notworthy

urban 05 May 2017 09:04 AM

Great result, so yeah, just do the same next week.

jaygsi 05 May 2017 09:13 AM

Pity Rashford and lindgard haven't quite perfected there finishing, but this is good practice for them.

jaygsi 09 May 2017 10:24 PM

Well a loss against Arsenal, hopefully a win on Thursday then Europa final.

elgassi 11 May 2017 10:08 PM

YES, another final............just
who cares we're Stockholm bound
Glory, Glory

jaygsi 12 May 2017 10:46 AM

It was too close really. I just hope united can beat Ajax.

urban 12 May 2017 01:15 PM

Well, we're down as favourites. But agreed, last night was far too close for comfort

jaygsi 12 May 2017 09:41 PM

I'm not sure, i think united will do it, good experienced side, but Ajax have alot of youth and pace, so they can make good counter attacks. Lets see how it goes.

Funkii Munkii 15 May 2017 06:43 PM

Seems our season is grinding to a halt, although we have had the handbrake on most of the season.

Ajax could be tricky

Rooney looks like he's ready for the glue factory after the last two performances

jaygsi 15 May 2017 09:51 PM

He managed to score a goal at least.

Funkii Munkii 16 May 2017 11:35 AM

Anyone on this forum would have scored that goal, lets be fair ;)

jaygsi 16 May 2017 10:57 PM

Lol i was hoping Rooney would make a come back, should just buy John Terry. He scored and gave an assist.

Funkii Munkii 18 May 2017 02:21 PM

F that, Terry at United, never in a million years.

urban 18 May 2017 06:37 PM

I agree, can't stand the guy, and he's done anyway

jaygsi 18 May 2017 11:22 PM

My jokes are wasted.

That is just insane for him. Ronaldo back / Messi maybe.

On another note - I am looking forward to watching our first premier league game in UHD :)

I still have my Ronaldo Man U kit and I wear it quite often. Nice looking kit!

No, they're just crap :lol1:

Funkii Munkii 22 May 2017 06:40 PM

So IF and its a big IF Utd qualify for the ECL who would you like to see come in.

Michael Keane
Danny Rose
Tiemoue Bakayoko
Antoine Griezzman
Kylian Mbappe (or Kane) no change from 100m there then
Radja Naingolan (or Bale)

We'll probably only get Keane, if we're lucky

Funkii Munkii 24 May 2017 01:04 PM

We win Griezmann comes it's that simple

Getting excited now :)

Nah, just my assumption :D

He said on Monday he is 60% likely to join Man U and followed that up on Tuesday admitting he is leaving Atletico but only said England, Italy China or America

jaygsi 24 May 2017 06:02 PM

He loves David Beckham, a big fan of his, he's coming to United lol

jaygsi 24 May 2017 09:48 PM

Well a good win, United played well, i was abit surprised about Ajax though.

Good win, back in the UEFA champions league!

jaygsi 24 May 2017 10:47 PM

Be exciting to see who he buys next year.

alcazar 25 May 2017 10:09 AM

Whilst I always root for the British team in Europe, I had to grit my teeth at the "look at me" antics of Josie-Maureen the Ho last night.

The first goal goes in, putting them on their way, EVERYONE ManU in the stadium is celebrating and that tw@ sits on the bench with a face like a wet weekend.

What a plonker. I depise the man. He epitomises everything that is wrong with British football at the moment.

Funkii Munkii 25 May 2017 11:41 AM

Good result, a pot and ECL footy not a bad nights work.

I thought Maureen behaved himself, he wasn't going to jump the gun at 1-0 but showed his true feelings at the end. I also liked the way he b0llocked Pogba with 20 to go as he was show boating, you need a strong character to handle kids earming 2-300K a week.

It was clear from all the interviews United's players had been affected by Mondays events and it was even suggested they didn't want to play as it had affected them so much, lets not forget these guys are in and out of the MEN all season with their friends and families, we see the pictures all the time.

Well done United on hopefully bringing a little joy to a city in mourning.

Perhaps, but unless you follow the club, you might not just be aware of just how many times they've thrown away a 1 - 0 lead.
If you watch the interviews afterwards, you'd have seen a totally different man.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinions, but he's got them playing again, and winning more to the point. Something the previous two Alex Ferguson successors didn't do to good.

jaygsi 25 May 2017 02:31 PM

Got to agree i was happy when they scored, but one goal hardly worth celebrating, 2-0 then i felt relaxed enough to be happy.

elgassi 25 May 2017 11:59 PM

poor game, great result from a long ball United
had to laugh at the end of the game when so many players hobbled onto the park with crutches and limps
no wonder we had to scrap and play the way we did, nobody will remember that, our names on the trophy :-)
JM, 3 trophies and counting, not bad, I didn't think he'd be any good for us, just shows how a teams fortunes can change with a confident & experience leader (+ financial backing) - well done JM, more of the same, at least 10 years dominance is the target ;-)
