Thermal inlet manifold spacers

hi all. Has anyone on here have any experience with thermal inlet spacers?
Seems to be an awful lot for sale but no tests to prove any benefit.
Is there any point?

That are not just for thermal capabilities, they also raise the manifold for people running larger turbos who need a bigger inlet

Ok. Was just having a nosey on eBay and seen them.
On a quick search they're supposed to lower inlet temperature which can't be bad but I'm thinking that the heads will be hotter as they can't spread the heat.
Have you used them?

i have them on mine only way i could get my lm450 turbo to fit properly they do seem to keep the heat down in the manifold too

I won't be running a massive turbo any time soon. Waiting on mine coming back with a new 2.1 forged engine.
Just looking for interesting ways of improving it

Yes they to help keep the heat out of the inlet manifold, I would also move the header tank off the manifold to balance the heat completely from left to right

I was also thinking about these. I'm debating going for a Samco turbo intake hose, and from what I've read the easiest (or the least painful and frustrating) way to fit the silicone hose is to lift off the inlet manifold. Since I'd have it off anyway, it wouldn't be much extra work to fit them. I'm just wondering if they would make any noticeable difference.

Noticeable probably but anything that lowers charge temps, will help with reliability and little more performance.

I'm changing my top mount as well. I have a new age Sti unit and a really nice Hyperflow 1.
I'll sell 1 of the but not sure which yet and I'll sell the other 1

Sell the sti version. The hyperflow unit looks like a nice piece of kit.
