Old to New
Hi Everyone,
hopeing someone can shed a bit of light on this problem i am having, i had a 2007 hawkeye with 12" type r alpine sub and it shock the car, you could have not asked for more it was that good. i upgraded to the 2015 sti and moved over my audio and the bass is lame beyond lame suer dupa lame, i changed my alpine sub for a rocky p3, meh was better but not great, so again more power i brought i Rocky T1 yes the bass was better but nothing like me 07 car. anyone have any idea? |
Are you using the the same head unit/amp/ wiring kit etc should be same sound quality if using a full setup as they are both saloons if I'm right in thinking so ??

It's far less likely to be just the head unit.
Your 2007 had a piece of molded foam as a rear seat bench... Your new car has proper split seats, far more substantial. As a test, try folding the one rear seat forward, shutting all doors and see if it makes a massive improvement or not AFTER that, try turning up the setting on your amp, bit at a time. |
i have done that, bass is kick ass, put the seats up, gone :(
